Retreats provide the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of one's everyday occupations, family life and relationships with God and others, in light of the basic truths of the Catholic faith. An atmosphere of personal prayer and recollection is maintained during the retreat. If you wish to attend an overnight retreat you may want to consider retreats at Murray Hill Place, Arnold Hall, or Longlea Conference Center.
Evenings of Recollection
Recollections are generally two hours long. They consist of a series of activities designed to form one’s spiritual life. They include: a preached meditation, an extended examination of conscience, an opportunity to engage in spiritual direction and/or sacramental confession, and Eucharistic adoration and Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament.
